I am sharing an intra-day trading strategy that i use for Nifty Options. It has worked well for me.

It works better when you understand short term and long term Nifty trends as well … To learn more about long term trends, read my Book on “Art of Stock Investing – Indian Stock Market” @ http://bse2nse.com/archived/3185-book-art-stock-investing-indian-stock-market.html

Hi Mani, How all analysts in TV and in News papers give exact pin point
Nifty support and Resistances some days it might change 3-5 points nifty,
then trend follows. Can you please explain how they calculate those
figures. We will also let calculate without listening them.
Anand

Manikandan R says:

RSI is Relative Strength Index ….

Manikandan R says:

RSI will be 14 … these are by default set in the charts … no need to
set them … don’t worry too much about SAR … I more look at stochastic
… FS at 14 and SS at 28

Manikandan R says:

@Rameshkumar, also watch my other video on “One Rupee – Nifty intra-day
options” strategy ….

syed shameel says:

thank you very much Mani. Applauds to you for the wonderful tips that you
give.

Manikandan R says:

your stop loss should be based on immediate resistance and support levels
on the chart for intra-day … I will try to make a video on how to
identify immediate support and resistance levels on the chart ….

Manikandan R says:

Well, on days when you see highly bullish or highly bearish trend, you can
use Fast Stochastic … On days when there is no trend, follow Slow
Stochastic …. Use the PSAR dots as stop loss …

Manikandan R says:

Yes … Does that contradict with anything i say in this video? I am not
sure if you have a question there …

Manikandan R says:

Would love to hear feedback after you tryout the strategy … Cheers!

Manikandan R says:

Thanks for the feedback Bala …

Rameshkumar Palanisamy says:

WOOOH GOOD info…. i just started nifty futures but booked some loss. hope
this help me in terms of refined investing. 😀

shekar r says:

great vid again-thanks,but canyou pls also add what stop loss levels one
should watch for

Khaja Mohiddin says:

sir ji excellent video can we catch 2 to 3 rs in nifty option with this
strategy

Durga Prasad says:

can v use 8/13 ema with SAR, RSI combination for day trading.. for any
product of nse / commodity

Manikandan R says:

I am glad that you find it useful :)

Sanjay Tiwari says:

the question was why we will not exit at 2 pm when rsi is above 80 y we
will wait for day end

Manikandan R says:

@sanj1110 , true … Exit @ 2 pm when RSI hits 80 is prudent … On
exceptional days when u expect one sided movement, u can hold till SAR
indicator turns red ….

Manikandan R says:

On Stocks, yes it works … But, fails when there’s some external news or
factor pushing the stock higher or lower, which defies technical’s … For
swing trading for 1-5 days, go for 30 minute chart …. might work better :)

Manikandan R says:

yes … But your accuracy may fall as you increase the target …

Shreyas Patwardhan says:

Hi. Thanks for the video. hope this helps in improving my trading strategy!
I had one question. My trading portal does not have SAR indicator so
instead of that can I use EMA for detecting trend reversal? if yes what
should be the period for the EMA?

Sanjay Tiwari says:

dude rsi is above 80 at 2 pm itself

syed shameel says:

Simple, but very great video on intraday trading using RSI & PSAR. Will
this work for equity as well, or good only for Nifty F&O? Dear Mani, also
can we use the same for swing trade for 1-5 days?

Manikandan R says:

more than EMA , go for stochastic indicator to time reversals …. If
Fibonacci levels coincide stochastic, that also helps … Do keep a stop
loss though or have ur positions hedged …

Rameshkumar Palanisamy says:

I had gone through your book. It’s simple and have good tips regarding
fundamental analysis. good work !!!!

Amit Dhakre says:

This combo seems good. I saw you recommending stchastic. By this you mean
slow stochastic, right? How to keep SL with this strategy?

mshreesamarth says:

what should be the peroid of rsi & sar

Manikandan R says:

ya … 8/13 ema should be fine … I still find stochastic to be single
most good indicator, although that too may have some noises …

Marco Kwan says:

hi , tks a lot for your tips; two questions that i have, one is that the
SAR change to buy to sell in your trade , shall we set the order first and
re- buy again for better risk mangement; and base on your experience, how
to exit the trade to maximum the profit instead to wait the SAR turn its
signal again

shekar r says:

great stuff

bala subrahmanyam says:

Balasubramanyam, Let me congratulate for the vision on developing such a
short, beautiful, ….. videos on making reasonable profits as these
methods definitely gives profit.
